16-Hour SST Supervisor Refresher Bundle
Together, the 8-Hour Fall prevention and the 8-Hour Site Safety Manafer Refresher/Chapter 33 Trainings meet the NYC DOB regulations for Site Safety Training (SST) for individuals who have to renew their SST Supervisor card. This registration packages both courses to be taken in two days. In order to continue to operate in the City of New York, the designated construction worker is required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training and to carry site safety identification cards as proof of completion of the training (As per New York City Local Law 196 of 2017 also known as ‘LL196’ or ‘Local Law’). This course provides sixteen hours towards the satisfaction of that requirement.

Learning Outcomes | FALL PREVENTION TRAINING
One of the most common causes of construction worker injuries are falls. The teaching faculty at Andromeda Academy is unparalleled in their scaffold expertise. This knowledge is applied to teaching the basic components of fall protection safety. Students will learn how to avoid accidents and injuries during work on scaffolds, roofs, edges, and scaffolds. SITE SAFETY REFRESHER/ CHAPTER 33 A refresher of the 40-hour site safety manager course, this course is required by the NYC Department of Buildings before taking the written examination for a New York City Site Safety Manager. This course introduces students to the best practices and methods that are essential to maintaining a safe urban construction site. The course works through the Rules of the City of New York regarding public protection and New York City Department of Buildings Chapter 33, as well as current Federal and State regulatory standards and applicable local laws to ensure compliance and safe work practices in construction.
